Equipment and Clothing Hire

Skis, boards and boots are available for hire for both adults and children. Equipment is waxed and edged prior to your trip and includes poles and bags where necessary. Boots are fitted correctly rather than in the scrum of the foreign shops. We also have quality Test Skis available, on a try before you buy deal. Ask for details early.

Servicing and Boot Fitting Specialists

We have a modern and fully equipped workshop for all your servicing requirements and we can usually turn your equipment round within the week. Prices start at £7.50 for a wax, to £20.00 for a full service including minor patching, on skis, £25.00 on Boards.

Our Boot Fitting Dept. has specialist machines for analysis of your foot problems, the ability to customise your boots with specialist insoles or re-shape them if the need arises. Our staff are regularly updated on courses to give you the best possible assistance and advice, so why suffer on the slopes? An answer is waiting at BAC.

Schools and Groups

School Ski Trips

We offer a highly professional service to those schoolsorganising a Ski Trip.

We will readily attend a pre-trip parents evening to give a short talk giving advice on clothing and equipment, not a hard sell ! This will be complemented by a display of suitably priced goods for inspection or purchase, all at discounted prices. Parents are free to discuss their needs and hire or buy if they so wish.

Duke of Edinburgh Award

We supply many schools and groups with equipment. We are also happy to attend meetings to display equipment. Students actively taking part in the award can obtain a discount of 10% on equipment on production of their card. Schools/groups who supply us with their internet address and contact name qualify for further discounts, please contact us for details.
