Inspired by the life of Anne Lister, this 5½-mile walk explores the beautiful valley of Shibden Dale around her home of Shibden Hall near Halifax.

The route takes in many sites around her former estate that played important parts in her fascinating life.

The route can be started at either Shibden Hall or Halifax railway station.

This hand-drawn map contains a wealth of information about Anne Lister, the broader history of the area and the filming of the TV series Gentleman Jack based on Anne Lister’s life.

Next Day UK Delivery £10.00
Orders placed BEFORE 1pm on days we are open will be dispatched the same day, usually by Royal Mail or occasionally by Courier and will require a signature. Any Next Day orders received after this time will be dispatched the following working day. Please note any orders placed AFTER 1pm on Fridays will be dispatched on the following Monday (excluding Bank Holidays).
