Whether you’re a weekend walker or a seasoned hiker, the Rab Women's Downpour Eco Jacket offers all-weather protection, made with 100% recycled fabric
The Rab Downpour Eco Jacket is a high-performance hill-walking shell with impeccable outdoor ethics

In addition to being 100% recycled, that means it also has the potential to be fully recycled at the end of life
Waterproof but extremely soft, with an MVTR breathability rating of 20,000g, it features a pair of zipped handwarmer pockets large enough for a map, alongside an integrated stuff sack for an easy carry
To help tailor the fit to the conditions, it uses an adjustable hem and cuffs, plus a two-way adjustable hood with polymer peak.

PERTEX® Shield Revolve is a fully recycled waterproof fabric with a recycled polyester membrane bonded to recycled polyester face and backing fabrics
A beautifully soft feel offers comfort and style, plus this fabric being 100% polyester means it could be recycled when the garment reaches the end of its life
Waterproofness Ratings Guide :
5,000mm : This is the minimum rating for a jacket to be called rainproof, however, it won’t stand up to much more than a shower over a period of time
10,000mm - 15,000mm :In this range a jacket will withstand most downpours but will soak through over time if subjected to pressure (see below)
20,000mm plus : The rating you should look for if you plan to be out in all conditions
Rab Breathability Guide (MVTR): mm/m²/24 hours
Very Poor <1,000 Modest 1,000-5,000 Good 5,000-10,000 Great 10,000-15,000 Exemplary 20,000+
Durable Water Repellency, or DWR, is a technology that Rab use throughout their range of waterproofs
DWR causes water to bead on the surface of the fabric so that instead of soaking into the garment's outer fabric, the rain simply rolls off
By reducing the amount of standing water on the garment’s outer, the breathability of the fabric is maintained and it remains light and comfortable to wear
PFC-Free DWRs offer excellent water repellence but less oil/dirt repellence than PFC chemistries, and they require more regular reproofing to maintain performance
PFCs are perfluorinated compounds. They are used in a very wide variety of products including cosmetics, cookware, and textiles
Their use has come under increasing scrutiny because they accumulate in the body and do not readily degrade; their use is now restricted
