The Photon Mixed Express KS features a prime combination of 2 carabiners that have been optimised for their function.
Equipped with a straight gate Photon at the bolt end and a lightweight Photon wire at the rope end.
The Photon is their lightest solid gate carabiner featuring their SphereLock closure for easy clipping and cleaning.
The SphereLock closure enable a low profile nose and extra security from a ball & socket instead of the traditional lock & key closure
The Photon Wire is easy to clip with its contoured, perfectly tensioned gate and large gate opening.
The Photon Mixed Express KS also uses a variable width 11cm webbing sling that makes them easy to grab while protecting sport routes.
The 25mm polyester sling has a variable width design that is thicker and stiffer in the middle and tapered at the ends for a profiled connection with the carabiners.
The wider cross section of the sling prevents twisting to keep the quickdraw in its proper orientation, ready for clipping on the sharp end.
The proprietary Karstop Evo carabiner retainer sits on the rope end, it is made from a strong urethane rubber keeper that fits snugly to the carabiner to prevent it from shifting.
