Unlike every other tube (pole) manufacturer, DAC has developed the material and the process together

DAC’s has its own custom aluminum alloy, TH72M

DAC’s proprietary high strength alloy was developed in conjunction with experts from the ALCOA Technical Center

This alloy coupled with DAC’s legendary engineering team leads to tubes with unmatched strength to weight ratios

All DAC tubes include Pressfit technology that revolutionized the method in which pole sections are joined together

Green Anodising

"DAC struggled for over eight years to eliminate nitric and phosphoric acid from the Anodizing process of most of our poles

Anodizing is a unique aluminum surface treatment that prevents rusting and increases the durability of the painting on the product

The standard industry process for heat treatable aluminum alloy involves chemical polishing with a boiled phosphoric and nitric acid solution that generates yellow fumes — almost like tear gas
The main motivation to find a replacement for chemical polishing was to protect our workers from this toxic gas
We worked for eight years of trials and errors without knowing if we could ever be successful

We ultimately invented a new process called Green Anodization, and now we make most of our poles without chemical polishing"

Orders received BEFORE 1pm on days we are open are usually dispatched the same day with Royal Mail using a 2nd Class delivery service (normally 2-3 working days).
As we are closed on a Tuesday, items ordered after 1pm on the proceeding Monday will not be posted until Wednesday afternoon

Orders over £20 will be sent Tracked & Signed For.
We will use Royal Mail or Parcelforce where applicable
Used depending on the size/weight of your order and if so we will try to inform you before dispatch.

Next Day UK Delivery £10.00
Orders placed BEFORE 1pm on days we are open will be dispatched the same day, usually by Royal Mail or occasionally by Courier and will require a signature. Any Next Day orders received after this time will be dispatched the following working day. Please note any orders placed AFTER 1pm on Fridays will be dispatched on the following Monday (excluding Bank Holidays).
